Andrew Conniff - Friday, April 29, 2011

Tracy Travers has her video...

...and a new Real Estate Brokerage in Montesano called West Coast Realty. Tracy won a free video from my company (Social Media Productions) at the 2011 RE Bar Camp in Seattle. After choosing her motion graphics and supplying us with photos, she drove up to our Studios and filmed this short video. Look for more videos from West Coast Realty soon as we all get to meet the managing brokers and learn more about there new and exciting business venture!

RE Bar Camp

Andrew Conniff - Wednesday, March 09, 2011
RE Bar Camp was an amazing event!

Here is a quick video from the Seattle Center. I made a lot of connections and tried out the new Steady cam system from SteadyDSLR. I need more practice but it adds a nice dynamic and is watchable for sure!

Here is the main room during the keynote address

Key note address

I really like this photo. Most of the group showed up early and we streamed part of the Keynote speaker onto our Facebook Fanpage and the internet using Livestream. The event coordinators even had me link it onto the big projector in the sponsor room... but back to the photo, I like the color tone and contrast. For any photography fans out there I used a Sony a55 with the kit lens for this photo and the video above.

Sponsor room LiveStream of the main room.

We streamed the Key Address to the sponsor room

That's all for tonight!

Linked In expands Company Profiles

Andrew Conniff - Monday, January 31, 2011
Social Media is taking off like never before and each social media site is evolving to offer integrated features.
Today I want to talk a little bit about Linked In. If you haven't used Linked In before, you should know that it has been around since 2003 (founded in 2002 by Reid Hoffman) and is a place for professionals and business to connect. As of January 2011 Linked in has over 90 Million members worldwide Source. Until recently, Linked In has been faithful to the original business model, but appears to be ready to make major moves to integrate with other social media sites like Twitter, YouTube and Facebook as well as flow content from businesses websites and online catalogs.
What does this all mean for you and me? Well it's one more way to deliver our online marketing efforts to business partners and potential clients for FREE. The new trend is that the expense is only wrapped up in the time and energy (or cost of hiring someone) to create digital graphics, video, or audio for businesses and distribute them across the social network. This is great news for entrepreneurs and sales associates that cannot afford massive mailing campaigns, television ads, or radio spots.
I still think Linked In is a bit clumsy compared to Facebook, but has some new functionality that adds relevance. As  Facebook continues to adjust for revenue it makes room for its competitors to ease the reigns a little bit and gain ground in the Social Media business.
